Race-7 (Turf) R 1 000 000 1800m 16:40 Grade 1 WILGERBOSDRIFT S A FILLIES CLASSIC For 3 year-old Fillies (2nd Leg of SA Triple Tiara) - ESTIDRAAJ could cause the upset

When the three-year-old USA bred ESTIDRAAJ runs well then she runs very well. Her two wins from four starts have both been authoritative and she has looked to be a top class sort in the making. Not in her favour however is the fact that she takes on her strongest field by quite a distance. One cannot ignore the chances of any Mike De Kock runner on big race days in any part of the world. Anthony Delpech has won aboard her in both of her wins with a 100% record. He could extend that to three from three. She will have to work hard to beat the short priced favourite from the Duncan Howells yard, SAME JURISDICTION who has won four from six. She was bumped at the start last time when she was the well backed favourite. That run is best ignored and she has been been justifiably backed as favourite in this race. Having said that, I also fancy that we have yet to see the best from this filly.

SIREN'S CALL is also a top class filly in the making with four wins from six starts. Her last two starts were against some good fields. She will be running on and this trip should also suit. The Piere Strydom factor should come in to play.

SMART CALL has run on seven occasions and has yet to finish outside the top three. She was bumped at the start last time and this could have affected her chances. She is another one who has yet to realise her true potential.

TROPHY WIFE could be one to follow, especially if she produces her usual late finish. Her last three runs have been very good and has finished close up in all three.
