GLENLAIR TROPHY (Listed) - TAARISH could win first feature of a busy weekend

RACE 6: GLENLAIR TROPHY (Listed) - TAARISH could win first feature of a busy weekend

TAARISH has been showing some improvement. He has more disappointing in PE than was expected of him when he moved here from the Mike De Kock yard. Even though he has won once in PE at this track, one would have expected him to be a far more frequent visitor to the number one box. He meets CROWN OF GOLD on 5kg better terms for a one and a quarter length beating in a weaker race last time. He also  tackles the distance for the first time and that could suit him well. S'Mango Khumalo rides for the first time.

CROWN OF GOLD will need to go some to beat TAARISH at the weights in this race even though he did lose to him the time they met before that. He loves this track and is a C & D winner. Jockey Raymond Danielson has already won on him on four occasions.

DRILL SARGEANT finished behind TAARISH last time but has more to find at the weights as well. He is a honest sort who has placed this C & D. Gavin Lerena steps aboard for the first time. Should earn something and is not out of it.

PADDY O'REILLY drops in class for this race but does not have the best of form. Bernard Fayd'Herbe has the ride and he has been winning his fair share of races around the country of late. Not in his favour is the fact that he hasn't won in almost two years.

LE CAPITANE has some fair form but has some way to go at this level for now.

1st - TAARISH (4); 2nd - CROWN OF GOLD (2); 3rd - DRILL SARGEANT (3); 4th - PADDY O'REILLY (1); 5th - LE CAPITANE (5)
