The Class of 2015 at the South African Jockey Academy (SAJA) have once again exceeded expectations with their excellent Matric Results, which included 2 Degree passes and 1 Diploma pass as well as distinctions for IsiZulu and Life Orientation. Graham Bailey (pictured), SAJA Principal, was delighted with the results and said “Craig Bantam, Mpumelelo Mjoka and Tayla Mackinnon have worked very hard together as a Matric class to achieve these excellent results. I am especially proud of our Academic Staff who year after year work closely with our apprentices to ensure the achieve the best Academic Results possible,”
Marius Nel, SAJA HOD Academics, heaped praise on the Teachers in his Department saying that “our teachers are highly experienced and motivated and try their best to educate, inform and inspire our apprentices to achieve the best possible academic results, despite the diminished class room time, due to the riding commitments of our apprentices. The commitment of both our Apprentices and Educators has led to SAJA maintaining a 100% Matric Pass Rate for approximately 15 years!”
