Calvin Ngcobo to contest Prix Longines Future Racing Stars

3rd Year Apprentice Calvin Ngcobo will be jetting off to France shortly to contest the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars to be held at the Chantilly on Sunday 19th June. Ngcobo, who will be under the guidance of Gauteng Jockey Academy Riding Master Gary Waterston, said he was very excited to be chosen to represent South Africa and was looking forward to the experience.

“I am very very excited to represent South Africa at the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars especially since this is my first international trip. Some of my fellow apprentices such as Franklin Maleking and Mathew Thackeray have done well in this challenge and I hope I can do the same” Ngcobo said.
The 3rd year apprentice is in excellent form and has had 32 winners so far for the season with 158 places and is up for the challenge and will represent South Africa proudly.
