The 2016 China Equine Cultural Festival (CECF) in Ordos, Inner Mongolia is poised to become the most significant edition since its inception just four years ago.
The CECF has quickly established itself as the premier, lifestyle and thoroughbred racing festival in mainland China. Drawing together captains of industry, leaders of local and international thoroughbred centres, global media representatives and international VIP’s. It is an unparalleled weekend for networking and corporate hospitality.
This year’s CECF will consist once again of an exclusive VIP Gala Event, as well as the richest CECF race day ever run on mainland China, The ¥2.5 million 2016 CECF Raceday. The only racing event in China endorsed by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities.
2016 will also see the two day CECF precede the third International Nadam to also be held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. A cultural extravaganza of deep significance within the Chinese culture, the Nadam will include 270 activities including 45 different sporting events ranging from international, national and provincial levels of competition.
