1st- 2# Jackie's Joy: Is a long time maiden, and her first career victory is overdue, she ran well last time out, and should go close here under former champion jockey Andrew Fortune.

2nd- 9# Sammi Moosa: Ran on well in her last start, however it is a concern that she returned coughing, if she is sound expect another honest effort here.

3rd - 3# Oblivion: Was dissapointing in her latest racetrack experience, but having said that she is capable over this course and distance, and can run into the placings.

4th- 7# Island Legend: Is a well related first timer, and she should produce a decent debut effort here.

Race 2
1-2-7-5
1st- 1# Shotgun Rider: Returns from an 81 day break, if he is fit and ready he should go very close under the "Master Of Disaster" jockey Gavin Lerena.

2nd- 2# Flying Fool: Is in good nick at the moment, and will give the top selection the most cheek.

3rd- 7# Mexican Sun: Comes back from a short break of 63 days, he has shown that he is a capable horse, and if he is primed for this race, expect another honest run from this colt.

4th- 5# Ego Amigo - Is a colt by top Aussie sire, Redoute's Choice, and he should produce a good debut effort here.

Race 3
4-3-9-5
1st- 4# Promise Bay: Ran the best race of her life last time out, and if she produces that effort she should go very close here, under top jockey Muzi Yeni.

2nd- 3# Linda Honey: Will be cherry ripe for this contest, she loves this course and distance, and will give the top selection the most cheek.

3rd- 9# Captain's Girl: Was dissapointing in her latest racetrack appearance, but if she produces her penultimate effort, she will be competitive here.

4th- 5# Osculation: Made good improvement in her most recent outing, and should not be left out of quartets.

Race 4
11-2-1-6
1st - 11# Refuge: Will extremely hard to beat here, based on his two top efforts to date, he gets the services of last season's Met winning jockey JP Vander Merwe.

2nd- 2# Devious Xandre: Has been dissapointing in his most recent performances over sprint distances, but he did run a nice race last time out over 7 furlongs, and will be competitive if reproducing his prior form over shorter.

3rd- 1# Justash: Is struggling to find his best form at the moment, but having said that if he produces what he capable of, he can place here.

4th- 6# Trotska: Is one for trifectas and quartets.

Race 5
3-11-12-6
1st - 3# Trip To Paradise: Won a good race last time out, and he can follow up here under Gunter Wrogemann who knows him well.

2nd - 11# Duty Dance: Ran nicely in his most recent racetrack appearance, and will give the top selection the most cheek.

3rd - 12# Kopi Luwak: Produced an honest effort in his last outing, and you can expect more of the same here.

4th- 6# Watabout: Is capable of producing much better form than what he has shown lately, and he cannot be left out of the equation.

Race 6
6-11-7-1

1st - 6# Shiver N Shake: Ran a good race last time out, and can emerge victorious here with quality jockey Raymond Danielson aboard.

2nd - 11# Play Date: Produced an honest effort in her most recent outing, and will give the top selection the most cheek.

3rd - 7# Lakahal: Was dissapointing last time out, but she can bounce back here, and run a place.

4th - 1# Pinot Var: Did not run well in her latest racetrack appearance, but she is capable of much better form, and can be competitive here.

Race 7
1-3-5-11

1st - 1# Sau Paulo: Ran a cracker last time out, and should go very close again under top jockey Gavin Lerena.

2nd - 3# Dangerous Diva: Produced a decent run in her latest racetrack experience, and will give the top selection the most cheek.

3rd - 5# Polar Secret: Is holding form well, and should produce another honest effort here.

4th 11# Wensleydale: Was not disgraced in her most recent effort, and will be in the mix once again.

Race 8
12-16-8-7

1st - 12# Lisnoble: Ran a very good post maiden race, and should he reproduce that run, he will go very close.

2nd - 16# Black Cossack: Produced a smart effort last time out, and will give the top selection the most cheek.

3rd - 8# Mendoza's Melody: Was not disgraced in his most recent race, and he should produce another honest run here.

4th - 7# Dawn Assault: Should not be left out of quartets.
