SAME JURISDICTION LINES UP IN BRITISH FEATURE

Brilliant Mambo In Seattle filly Same Jurisdiction is set to make her British debut on Friday. The talented five-year-old, who has not run since finishing second to Inara (Trippi) in the Gr1 Klawervlei Majorca Stakes in January, is one of seven fillies or mares declared to run in Friday’s Gr3 Japan Racing Association Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster.

Bred by Klawervlei Stud, Same Jurisdiction won seven of her 14 outings in South Africa, with her victories including the Gr1 Thekwini Stakes (at two) and the Gr1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes (at three).

She also won the KZN Yearling Sale Million in 2014, where Same Jurisdiction accounted for Beckedorf (A P Answer) by two and a quarter lengths. Same Jurisdiction, who has over R2,253,425, is out of the winning Captain Al mare Diana De Carlo.

Now in the care of trainer Ed Dunlop (who previously handled the outstanding fillies Ouija Board and Snow Fairy), the Drakenstein Stud owned Same Jurisdiction gets the services of champion jockey Ryan Moore for Friday’s 1400m contest. The Sceptre Stakes, due to be run 13:55 (British time) is one of three group races carded for Friday at Doncaster, with the others being the Gr2 Pepsi Max Flying Childers Stakes and the Gr2 Doncaster Cup.
