Scottsville Sunday September 25th

Race 1

1st: #6 Accidental Tourist: Ran a great race against much stronger opposition last time out, she broke slowly, and the saddle slipped, she did very well to finish fourth. She is back against maidens, and is the one to beat from a good draw, with a top jockey up.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: 12# Hot Mambo - 2# Zinzara -1# Power Horse

Race 2

1st: #8 Cabinda: Has been a runner up in his last two starts, he does not have the best of draws, but he will be cherry ripe for this race, having his third run after a rest. Expect a bold effort, from this bay gelding.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: 3# Up And Under, 1# Chicago Beat, 12# Gunpowder Plot

Race 3

1st: 7# Amazon King: Improved nicely at the second time of asking, he does not have a favourable draw, but gets the services of a top jockey, and will be a force to be reckoned with, considering that his last start should of brought him on a ton.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: 16# Varadiso, 4# Rand Hedge, 5# Prince Ariano

Race 4

1st: #8 Interferometer: Made solid improvement last time out, this colt looks like a horse headed in the right direction, he will be tough to beat if he sees out the extra furlong, as he will have a quality apprentice on his back.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: 15# Salsa Queen, 1# Captain Of Rock, 5# Bold Reign

Race 5

1st: 1# Dundrum: Was a runner up on the poly in her most recent race, she is capable on turf and will go very close if she sees out the mile. She is drawn widest of all, but should none the less give a good account of herself.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: 5# La Gitanila, 2# Feature Bid, 6# Nikki's Greenlight

Race 6

1st: #9 A Women's Way: Was unbeaten as a juvenile, she is lightly raced having only had two runs last season and will make her presence felt, if she has made improvement. The course and distance, should not be an issue, and she gets the services of top jockey to boot.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: 12# Respect At Bay, 3# Shezaleader, 10# Call Me Winter

Race 7

1st: #6 Poster Girl: Has been facing very strong opposition since she exited the maiden ranks, she runs in her first handicap here, and should be very competitive if she reproduces her latest performance.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: 12# Lily Gray, 4#Deep Down Rebel, 13# Luna Sea

Race 8

1st: #2 Muscatt: Ran in the Grade 1 Computaform Sprint in Johannesburg last time out, he has been rested for 22 weeks since then, which would only have done him the world of good, after a long, hard season. He gets along well with this apprentice, and will go very close if he is fit and ready.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #8 Swakopmund, #4 Piano Man, 1# Asstar

Race 9

1st: #14 Reconsider Baby: Was a runner up last time out, she may prefer slightly further than this, but she will be cherry ripe for this contest, having her third run after a rest. She gets the services of a decent apprentice.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #9 La Di Var, #3 La Gitano, #4 Miss Minver

Race 10

1st: #2 Pippin: Was a runner up in her latest performance, she returns from a 12 week break, but should not need the run, being ideally suited to this course and distance. Expect a bold effort, from this bay filly.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: 13# Lily And Spice,  #3 Avast, 10# Film Star.

Best Bets: Accidental Tourist, Cabinda, Amazon King, A Women's Way.
