Greyville Polytrack Friday October 14th

 Race 1

#2 Baby In Black: Was a runner up last time out on this course, over seven furlongs. Ideally the filly would want a touch further than 1200, but having said that she has placed over this trip before, and it is interesting to see that top jockey Anthony Delpech has been booked to ride for trainer Andre Nel.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #5 Saint Kali, #3 Swiss Note, #7 Night At The Proms

Inc: 1,6,8

Race 2

#12 Roy's Monkey: Must be forgiven for the below par effort she produced last time out, and one has to bear in mind that there is nothing special about this field. All this horse needs to do is reproduce her good prior form over this course and distance, and she will be a lively contender in this contest. Eric Ngwane, is an appie with huge potential and he takes the ride for the Paul Gadsby yard.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #5 Chasing  The Sun, #3 Roy's Amazing Ash, #7 Roy's Vacation

Inc: 2,4,6,11,13

Race 3

#1 Dance City Queen: Should have a line drawn through her last start, she may not have enjoyed the grass and returns to racing on her preferred  surface of poly. She is a ten furlong horse, but should have no issues with the drop in trip. Former champion jockey Anton Marcus will be in the irons for the Charles Laird stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #9 Soul Of Spain, #6 Miss Minver, #8 Roy's Rakara

Inc: 12,13

Race 4

#10 Newyorkstateofmind: Finished the runner up in his most recent race, that was a promising post maiden performance, and he should be capable of building on it with a win in this apprentice handicap. Shadlee Fortune, who is a decent rider in the making takes the ride for the Sean Tarry stable.

2nd,3rd, 4th: #7 Kept Secret, #2 Winter Darling, #9 Mr Mcsteamy

Inc: 1

Race 5

#4 Al Ciberano: Had to settle for second in his latest performance, he is a quality sprinter and can go one better with multiple July winning jockey Anton "Superman" Marcus up for Tony Rivalland yard.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #10 Out My Way, #7 Fire Rocket,#5 Royal Security Power

Inc: 10,13

Race 6

#2 Master Of Mischief: Played second fiddle in his last outing, he enjoys this course and distance and can make his presence felt if he brings A game to the track, he gets the services of decent appie Calvin Habib who steps up for Wendy Whitehead stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #7 Bi Si, #10 Princess Ida, #13 Trinity Hall

Race 7

#6 Roy's Rolls Royce: Ran an honest race last time out, when finishing third he has been trying seven furlongs to mile as of late, but did prove himself capable of getting ten furlongs as a maiden. Veteran jockey Anthony Delpech takes the ride for the trainer Yogas Govendor.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #5 For Ever, #4 Kings Lady, #7 Greatfiveeight

inc: 1,3

Race 8

# Modernista: Finished the runner up in her latest racetrack appearance, and can reverse the her the form with Maybe, who is also in this contest. She loves this course and distance, and will be a lively contender with apprentice Diego De Gouveia in the saddle for trainer Duncan Howells

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #1 La Vida Blanco #3 Maybe, #12 Topaz Rain

Inc: 4,13

Race 9

#7 Principate: Made solid improvement over ten furlongs of polytrack in his last race. He seems to be finding his feet, and is the one to beat if he can put it all together under jockey Alec Forbes who takes the ride for the Denysschen stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #1 Roy's Past, #6 Mr O Neill, #8 Air Salute

Best Bets: #2 Baby In Black, #1 Dance City Queen, #4 Al Ciberano, #7 Principate
