4th Year Apprentice at the South African Jockey Academy (SAJA), Kersley Ramsamy, won the 4th Race at Tarbes Racecourse in France today aboard No. 1 Thabit trained by Francisco Sanchez.

Kersley was racing in France representing Mauritius, having been selected by the Mauritius Turf Club to represent his home country after winning the Eastern Cape Champion Apprentice Title earlier this year. Kersley is currently based at the SAJA campus in Port Elizabeth under the care and guidance of Riding Master Tex Davie.
