Lammerskraal Stud’s outstanding broodmare Akinfeet (Fort Wood) will visit the farm’s promising sire Visionaire (Grand Slam) this season.
Akinfeet, who was South Africa’s Broodmare Of The Year in 2013, won three times and ran third in the UAE 1000 Guineas.

At stud, Akinfeet’s seven winners include new Summerhill Stud sire Capetown Noir (Western Winter) –South Africa’s champion miler in 2013-2014.
A triple Gr1 winner, who earned over R2.6 million in prize money, Capetown Noir won eight times from 1200-2000m, with his victories including the Gr1 L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate, Gr1 Investec Cape Derby, and Gr1 Cape Premier Yearling Sales Cape Guineas.

Akinfeet is also dam of millionaire and Gr3 August Stakes winner Across The Ice (Western Winter) and the stakes placed winner of five, Maxixe (Western Winter).

Her 3yo daughter Premier Dance (Silvano) recently made a winning debut at Greyville and she holds an entry in the Gr2 Choice Carriers Fillies Championship.

By former champion sire and broodmare sire Fort Wood (Sadler’s Wells), Akinfeet is one five winners out of Gr2 Cape Fillies Guineas winner Dance Every Dance (Northern Guest).
