Highlands Farm’s outstanding broodmare Our Table Mountain (Fusaichi Pegasus) recently gave birth to a filly by former Cartier Champion Duke Of Marmalade (Danehill).

The newly born filly foal is a half sister to five winners, including last season’s Equus Champion 2YO Filly and Gr1 SA Nursery winner Cloth Of Cloud (Captain Al) and 2016 Gr1 World Sports Betting Cape Fillies Guineas winner Silver Mountain (Silvano).

The latter is currently being prepared for a tilt at the Gr1 Klawervlei Majorca Stakes later in the season.
Our Table Mountain, South Africa’s Equus Broodmare Of The Year for 2015-2016, is also the dam of last season’s Gr2 eLan Gold Cup runner up Helderberg Blue (Jet Master), Gr1 Thekwini Stakes third Careful Hiker (Spectrum) and useful Cape galloper Our Icon (Dynasty).

Herself a six time winner, whose wins included the Listed Olympic Duel Stakes, Our Table Mountain is a half sister to Gr1 Breeders’ Cup Mile winner and shuttle sire Artie Schiller (El Prado) and her own dam, Hidden Light (Majestic Light), won six times including the Gr1 Santa Anita Oaks and Gr1 Hollywood Oaks.

Hidden Light’s second dam Legato (Dark Star) is also granddam of ill-fated Gr1 Kentucky Derby winner and US Horse Of The Year Ferdinand (Nijinsky II).
