Kenilworth Saturday October 22nd

 Race 1

#1 Glorious Goodwood: Finished the runner up in his most recent race, he seemed to enjoy the Kenilworth 1400 but should be equally effective over a furlong less. He should go close under quality jockey Raymond Danielson who has been booked to ride him for trainer Justin Snaith.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #10 Scriptwriter, #8 Jabu, #4 Agencefrancepresse

Inc: 9

Race 2

#2 Black Parrot: May have found a mile to far last time out, and should be a whole lot better over this shorter trip. He will be a lively contender if he reproduces his penultimate effort. Craig Du Plooy climbs aboard him for conditioner Justin Snaith.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #4 Telamon, #6 Copper Force, #1 Pride Rock

Inc: 3,5,9

Race 3

#8 Primrose Lane: Has won two races on the trot, and bids for a hatrick of victories in this contest. Even though she steps up in class she is classy filly with loads of scope for improvement, and she gets the services of top jockey Grant Van Niekerk who steps up for the Darryl Hodgson stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #4 Rock On Baby, #2 Dixie Express, #3 Varumba

Inc: 6

Race 4

#1 Royal Ginger: Produced a solid effort when finishing the runner up in his latest performance. He does enjoy racing at Kenilworth, and will be tough to beat under Grant Van Niekerk who has been booked to ride him for the Darryl Hodgson yard.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #6 Sea Pass, #5 Time Travel, #4 Rocketeer

Inc: 2

Race 5

#3 Royal Badge: Returns from a lengthy layoff 154 days and gelding, but he is such a classy individual that if he produces what he is capable of then he will be a very competitive entrant in this contest. He gave Durban July runner up Marinaresco a run for his money when he was last seen on the racecourse, and will have every chance in this event under balanced rider Aldo Domeyer who will do duty for trainer Adam Marcus.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #7 Winter Prince, #1 Milton, #5 Brilliant Crimson

Inc: 2,6,9

Race 6

#5 Mr Jay: Was expected to win by many in his last visit to the racecourse and he duly obliged, getting up on the line in a nail biter. He should have no issues with the rise in trip, if anything he should appreciate it. Confident jockey MJ Byleveld takes the ride for conditioner Vaughn Marshall.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #1 Free Agent, #8 Summer Sky, #7 In The Jungle

Inc: 2,6

Race 7

#1 Colour Magic: Had to settle for second in her last outing, she has been extremely consistent as of late, and would be a very deserving winner. She gets along extremely well with apprentice Brandon May who climbs aboard her the Vaughn Marshall stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #5 Elusive Stars, #3 Tender Trip, #10 Essenceoflife

Inc: 7,8,11

Race 8

#3 Francia: Takes on the boys and she should be more than capable of holding her own against them. She won a good race in her latest racetrack experience, and has serious claims of following up under Raymond Danielson who will be in the irons for trainer Justin Snaith.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #6 Cigar Boy #4 My World, #1 Ovidio

Race 9

#5 South Side: Produced a promising performance when travelling to Natal last time out. If she reproduces that run, she may prove to be very difficult to beat. Up and coming jockey Donovan Dillon will be in the irons for the Glen Kotzen yard.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #1 State Ballet, #7 Corker, #9 Navarone

Inc: 2,10

Best Bets: Golorious Goodwood, Primrose Lane, Royal Ginger, South Side

Value Bet: Royal Badge
