 Race 1

#4 Fearless Fred: Ran on smartly to finish the runner up in his latest performance, he is suited to this track and has placed over seven furlongs in the past. Promising young rider Craig Zackey retains the ride for trainer Corne Spies.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #11 Raydaveric, #3 Jackman, #13 Sierra Redwood

Inc: 1,2,9,12

Race 2

#2 Jiffy: Returns from a lengthy break of 131 days, he was unbeaten in three starts as a juvenile; with one of those victories coming at this track. He is a half brother to South African Fillies Nursery winner Virgo's Babe (Muhtafal) and gets the services of quality jockey Raymond Danielson, who has won on him twice for conditioner Erico Verdonese.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #6 Majestic Bay, #6 Dakiwe, #3 Forest Fox

inc: 9,11

Race 3

#12 Rogue Allure: Made good improvement at the second time of asking, this filly is a horse on the up and she absolutely loves this course and distance. She will take a power of beating under decent apprentice Calvin Ngcobo (- 1.5 Kg) who will once again be in the saddle for the Stephen Moffatt yard.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #6 Brighton Belle, #5 Blue Berry Pie, #3 Oblivion

Inc: 1,2,4,9,10,12,14

Race 4

#6 Bankable Teddy: Was a classy three year old last season; he won the listed Derby trial and competed in some very strong events. The colt had to settle for second in a competitive handicap when last seen on the racecourse, and can go one better in this contest. He has ability and scope for further improvement, and will have every chance under confident jockey Chase Maujean who does duty for the Brian Wild stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #12 Crime Victim, #10 Easy Lover, #5 Master Switch

Inc: 1,4,8

Race 5

#2 Danza: Played second fiddle in his most recent, he is a decent sprinter and it would not be a surprise to see him pull of the win here. His versatility will also stand him in very good stead, and the fact that apprentice Calvin Ngcobo knows him well is another bonus. Trainer Alec Laird will saddle this talented gelding who will be aiming to pick up his second career win.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #10 Shivering Sea, #5 Sporting Monarch, #1 Samurai Blade

Inc: 3,4,9

Race 6

#6 Arissa: Produced a solid performance when finishing the runner up in her last visit to the racecourse, she does return from 86 day rest; but she was a high class juvenile last season, and should still have plenty more to come. The legendary Pierre "Striker" Strydom will be in the irons for conditioner Alec Laird.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #11 Tell My Star, #4 Jungle Mist, #10 Winter Al

Inc: 7,9

Race 7

#1 Caribbean Queen: Must be forgiven for a poor showing last time out, she may have found the seven furlongs to far, and deserves another chance back in a sprint where she should be more at home. Last season's champion apprentice Callan Murray will climb aboard her for the Paul Peter yard.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #3 Macadamia, #9 Shwanky, #5 Beautiful Shay

Inc: 4,10,11,14

Race 8

#6 Flight Mode: Should have a line drawn through his last run, he may have found seven furlongs too far and will be a lot better over the minimum trip of 1000m, if he can reproduce his penultimate effort then he will be a lively contender in this contest. Champion jockey S'manga Khumalo has been booked to ride him for the Louis Goosen stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #1 Chief Sioux, #13 Minnesota, #8 Led Zeppelin

Inc: 4,3,5,11

Best Bets: Rogue Allure, Arissa
