#6 In Your Face: Made good improvement, when making his local debut over 1300m on poly, he finished the runner up on that ocassion and can go one better here. He should have no issues with this course and distance, and will have workrider S Nqgabuko up who takes the ride for the Paddock yard.

#1 Oli Miranda: Makes her local debut in this contest, she has produced some positive performances against much stronger in the past, and will be a lively contender if she can bring that form to the track. She should enjoy this course and distance, and gets the services of balanced rider Aldo Domeyer who takes the ride for trainer Justin Snaith.

#8 King Of The Rally: Has been brought down to Port Elizabeth from the Cape, in the hopes of breaking his maiden and he has very strong claims of doing so. He finished the runner up in his last start, and could be in the winners box here. Quality jockey Aldo Domeyer has been booked to ride him for conditioner Justin Snaith.

#8 Rocket Master: Produced a promising post maiden effort when running a close third to the useful Gyre, he comes to Port Elizabeth in search of his second career victory. This gelding tries more ground, and in all honesty he should see out every inch of the mile and a half trip; being a half brother to champion stayer Blake (Dynasty). Top Lightweight jockey Grant Van Niekerk does duty for Bass Racing.

#1 Villa Del Largo: Completed a hatrick of wins last time out, he absolutely loves this course and distance and can make it four on the bounce by scoring yet another victory here. He carries a high mass, but that need not be a concern as this gelding is an extremely tough individual. Former Met winning jockey Aldo Domeyer will be in the irons for the Snaith stable.

2nd, 3rd, 4th: #3 Sir Duke, #10 Seven Wood, #5 Normanz

#2 Cock - A - Hoop: Was victorious in his local debut over 7 furlongs on poly. He seems to have taken to racing in the Eastern Cape, like a duck to water and the colt should appreciate the step up to a mile, this half brother to the talented Qing (Dynasty) will take an absolute power of beating under jockey Aldo Domeyer who will be in the saddle for trainer Justin Snaith.

#1 Aquinata: Rounded off a hatrick of victories in her latest performance, she is an extremely versatile sort who enjoys racing on both the grass and poly, and should relish the step up to 9 furlongs. Grant Van Niekerk who is one of the best riders around steps up for the conditioner Dorrie Sham.

#2 Mixed Emotions: Has some decent Cape form coming into this race, she finished the runner up over a mile last time out and could prove difficult to beat if she reproduces that performance here. This filly should handle the drop in trip just fine, and she may have the run of race as she is drawn neatly in 3. Jockey Aldo Domeyer has been engaged to ride her for the Snaith stable.
