FIFTH PATTERN RACE WINNER FOR UNBEATEN LEGEND

The great start that undefeated superstar Frankel (Galileo) has made to his stud career gained further traction this past Saturday.

Frankel’s undefeated daughter Mi Suerte made it two wins from as many outings when victorious in the Gr3 Kyoto Sho Fantasy Stakes.

Mi Suerte is certainly bred to be out of the top drawer –not only is she a daughter of one of history’s greatest racehorses, but both her dam (Mi Sueno) and second dam (Madcap Escapade) were Gr1 winners themselves.

To date, Frankel (who was unbeaten in 14 outings) has been represented by 39 runners –of which 18 have won.

Five of Frankel’s runners, at the time of writing, have won group/listed races, with his top offspring including Gr2 Lowther Stakes winner Queen Kindly, Gr3 Princess Margaret Stakes victress Fair Eva and Gr3 Prix de Conde hero Frankuus.

By the great sire Galileo, and a full brother to triple G1 winner, and Lane’s End sire, Noble Mission, Frankel was the highest rated racehorse in Timeform history. His 14 victories included 10 at G1 level –with his career highlights including a six length romp in the 2011 Gr1 Qipco 2000 Guineas, an 11th length victory in the following year’s Gr1 Queen Anne Stakes and a seventh length demolition of dual Gr1 winner Farhh (Pivotal) in the Gr1 Juddmonte International.

Frankel’s three parts brother Bullet Train (Sadler’s Wells), who currently shuttles from North America to Australia, has also made a pleasing start with his first 2yos this season including the impressive stakes winner Whiskey Train.
