Aldo Domeyer, put on one of the finest displays of race riding in the history of the sport in South Africa. The Cape based jockey scored no less than six wins on the card at Kenilworth yesterday afternoon.  

His first three victories came aboard runners trained by Andre Nel for Mrs Sabine Plattner, these were Ready Set Go, Loadshedder who are both sired by Varsfontein Stud's resident sire Gimmethegreenlight (AUS) and Guilty Pleasure by Silvano (GER) who resides at Main Chance Farms.

The back end of Aldo's six win streak was made up of Midnight Vision by Klawervlei Stud stallion Warm White Night from the Shane Humby Yard for owners Messrs G R Almanza and G E Felix, Icon King by Grade 1 winner Rebel King from the Mike Stewart stable for owners Mr H H & Mrs M Zeppel, and last, but by no means least Wake Up Maggie by sensational sire of speed Var from Avontuur Thoroughbreds, for trainer Candice - Bass Robinson for owners Mayfair Speculators.

Aldo was more than likely destined to be a jockey being a son of former Champion race rider, Andrew Fortune who has had his fair share of success through the years, so it is little surprise that he sits aboard a galloping horse with such passion.
