Jockeys Francois Herholdt and Muzi Yeni, flew the South African flag high above international skies, when they unsaddled winners in Saudi Arabia and Greece respectively.

Herholdt guided Shalimar who is conditioned by fellow South African Juan Nel, to victory in the Abdullah Mohd Al - jataly Prize for owner Ahmad Mohammed Foustok in Saudi Arabia.

Yeni used his invaluable experience from racing at Flamingo Park and the defunct Vaal sand track to steer the gutsy Star Sign passed her rivals and into the winners box.

They did South African racing proud, showcasing the skills they acquired at our world class Jockey Academy.
