Purple Diamond: Promising youngster, makes local debut, one to beat here.

Alex The Great: Has earned in all five starts to date, he can give them cheek.

Mutawaary: Hinchinbrook (AUS) - Sefrah (NZ) by Zabeel (NZ) first timer here.

Bennu: Much improved second outing, may have more to offer, has a chance.

Race 2

4 - 6 - 3 - 1

Turaathy: Two promising efforts to date, runner up in latest, can go one better.

Countess Var: Stayed on smartly for third on debut, should be a lively contender.

Playing Games: Has placed in both starts thus far, not without a prayer here, shot.

Omo Power: Fairly well exposed, rounded off quartets in latest, eachway selection.

Race 3

10 - 1 - 5 - 9

Prince Of Kahal: Juvenile taking on older horses, but debut was promising, big threat.

Toby Coates: Long time maiden, but made improvement last time out, can give cheek.

Imperial Past: Two moderate performances thus far, may show more here, has a chance.

Delta Knight: Crusade (USA) - Alpha Carina (NZ) by Carnegie (GB) gelding makes debut here.

Race 4

1 - 2 - 4 - 6

Flying Russian: May have just needed his comeback run, big chance on previous form, respect.

Dancing Rebel: Long time maiden, but very consistent individual, should be involved in the finish.

Zaitunay Baby: Rounded off quartets in latest, could threaten if producing his absolute best ability.

Seattle Seahawk: Showed some improvement second time out, looks to be more of a stayer, chance.

Race 5

2 - 6 - 1 - 11

State Star: Promising post maiden performance, should go close here under top jockey Delpech.

Lebanese Tractor: Bounced back to form last time out, carries a low mass and could threaten, shot.

Street Gaze: Faced much stronger opposition in latest, appears to have ability and can get a blow in.

For Show Me Angel: Has been rested for a lengthy period of time, but her last outing was fair, shout.

Race 6

4 - 7 - 8 - 1

Matador Man: Ran a creditable fifth in the Guineas behind Janoobi, major player having peak effort.

She's A Giver: Talented filly taking on the boys, deserves healthy respect, should be a factor on best.

Romi's Boy: Promising young sprinter, a definite contender on recent form, looks to be a live runner.

Doosra: This classy son of Captain Al has recently been gelded, but he could threaten on class, upset.

Race 7

4 - 9 - 2 - 11

Barbel Run: Evergreen six year old, seeking a hatrick of wins, he should go close here.

Cedrus Libani: Made huge improvement in comeback effort, big runner in this contest.

Spring Steel: Moderate performance last time out, deserves huge respect on previous start.

Starcraft Prince: Consistent campaigner, definitely not without a prayer, a major player.

Race 8

2 - 9 - 8 - 10

Guns And Roses: Recently broke her maiden, but has plenty more to offer, can follow up.

Tangerine Lady: Ran a much improved race last time out, she has definite eachway claims.

Juba: Promising post maiden performance, may be wanting slightly more than a mile, shot.

Secret Angel: Has been there abouts as of late, include her in the quartet and exotic perms.
