Greyville turf racing is always a thrill and the return to turf features an exciting contest on Sunday with the Fillies Guineas trial, a non black type event.

It's an event that contains most of the interesting up and coming fillies based in Kzn aiming for Kzn Fillies Guineas glory in May next year.

Duncan Howells holds the key with two promising runners. Fiorella is a two-time winner from 3 starts and never out of the first two. She could be anything at this stage and is surely one to watch though the season. Howell's other runner is Miziara. Not too far back on recent efforts but more to find in this company. 

The most intriguing runner of the event is HASHTAGYOLO from the Dean Kannemeyer stable with Anthony Delpech on board. She is the first selection. She is unbeaten from her only start and won easily by 4 lengths despite losing two lengths at the start. She quickened impressively on that debut effort.

Of the others the Anton Marcus runner, Fullfillyourdream, from the Robbie Hill stable has the BSA mini feature as her only win and that should be good enough for the money in this event. Light On Her Toes from the Forbes stable is the highest rated but has only won a maiden to date. She has run in 4 other features during the winter season and could be the dark horse in this event
