At an Inquiry held in Durban on 22 March 2018, Jockey Stuart Randolph was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of GOLD IMAGE he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to PARADE’S END (G Wright) at approximately the 800 metre in Race 8 at Greyville Racecourse on 7 March 2018.   

Jockey Randolph pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Inquiry Board, after considering the evidence, found Jockey Randolph guilty and imposed a suspension from riding in races for a period of seven days.

Jockey Randolph has the Right of Appeal against the finding and the penalty imposed.
