Hartleysix was left at the stalls first time out and showed a tremendous kick. The one to beat. Pomaceous's form is impressive on paper after three good runs but Tune The Scope for example has flopped since. Western Rock could improve off that first run after being left. More expected.

Race 2
Malinda has the form of the race and after two decent efforts she should break her maiden. Rebel Wilson is the clear second choice after a runner up last time out. Lateral's Flash was behind the impressive Mary O'Reilly but was well beaten. Place.

Race 3
Princess Rebel has been lumped with a massive penulty since the latest of 4 wins. The last was most impressive. Boxley won two of her last four starts and was second the other two times. Clear second best. Astisia at the bottom of the weights could surprise in third.

Race 4
This is a close contest with Zevenastic and La Grand Rouge with the preference for the 1kg better off Zevenastic. Amazon King is a new addition to the Smith yard and could place in this company after competing in Kzn.

Race 5
What A Player was not striding out last time and will take a power of beating here. Her form is excellent. March Music was behind Madame Speaker last time out very nice type. Just Chaos also has the Madame Speaker formline. Place chance.

Race 6
Tough race but Suave was not striding out last time and still won in style. Could repeat even with the extra weight. Pick Again has dropped in the MR and this could bring him into the race. Tiger Warrior as close up last time out. Place chance.

Race 7
Arabian Dynasty was not striding out last time but was three in a row prior. One to beat again. Mangrove is going for three win in a row. Place chance. Wish To Land has been close up of late. Place chance.

Race 8
My Miracle was green and lost ground on debut. More to offer. Petipa was much better last time when less than 2 lengths off. Honey's Legacy is going can over the trip. Place chance. Good recent form.
