HO HO for Ho, as Jock return in style

Vincent Ho, thrilled after securing his first double in nearly three months at Sha Tin on Sunday, is eagerly anticipating the FWD Champions Day reunion with the phenomenal Golden Sixty on April 28th.

Ho's return to form follows a brief hiatus due to a fall on January 24th, marking his comeback with successful rides aboard Baby Crystal and Holy Lake alongside Francis Lui, a long-standing collaborator.

With his eyes set firmly on regaining momentum, Ho is resolutely focused on Golden Sixty's quest for a historic fourth victory in the prestigious G1 FWD Champions Mile.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Ho stated, "It's fantastic to be back. I've been gradually rebuilding my confidence over the past three months. Champions Day is the pinnacle, and I'm thrilled to be part of it, especially with a remarkable horse like Golden Sixty."

Anticipating stiff competition from Hong Kong and Japan in the FWD Champions Mile, Ho remains optimistic and is determined to be in top form for the event.

Acknowledging the support from trainers Francis Lui and Tony Fownes, Ho expressed gratitude, saying, "I've been striving for wins since my return, and I'm grateful to Mr. Lui and Mr. Fownes for their unwavering support. It hasn't been easy, but I'm gradually regaining my confidence."

With Lui also clinching a treble, including a win with King Miles, the competition in the Hong Kong trainers' championship intensifies as Lui narrows Pierre Ng's lead to five points, fueling hopes for his first title.

Reflecting on his performance, Lui remained modest, saying, "I'm constantly striving for success, and I'll continue to give it my all."
