Top Gear Clarkson turns to Horses

Jeremy Clarkson, the renowned TV personality famous for his ventures in motor racing and farming, has ventured into the world of horse racing with The Hawkstonian, named after his own beer brand. Teaming up with Hawkstone brewery and Old Gold Racing, Clarkson will lead Hawkstone Racing, with The Hawkstonian trained by Ben Pauling in Gloucestershire.

The grey colt, sired by Jukebox Jury, is set to debut on the racecourse later this month or in October. Clarkson humorously remarked on the confusion between motor racing and horse racing, expressing his excitement for the venture. The Hawkstonian will first be offered to Hawkstonians and then to the public, with shares priced at £60 each for a 14-month term.

Ed Seyfried, CEO of Old Gold Racing, expressed enthusiasm for Clarkson's entry into racing, while Pauling looks forward to introducing Clarkson and his team to the intricacies of horseracing. This collaboration promises an exciting journey into the world of thoroughbred racing.
