Smart Call fourth In European GP 1

Smart Call ran probably her best race in Europe as she finished a flying fourth in the Darley Prix Jean Romanet (Group 1) (4yo+ Fillies & Mares) (Turf) over 2000m yesterday.

Sir Michael Stoute was thrilled with the effort and the close up 4th finish was further enhanced as her run was impeded by a bump from Left Hand which cost her a closer finish or even a win. Stoute must believe that Smart Call has a Group 1 in her before retirement.

The race was won by Ajman Princess with the talented So Mi Dar behind Smart Call.
