Oratorio Hits Them Hard at Turffontein and Greyville

Oratorio has hit the headlines in the last two days with three smashing winners in the Turffontein and Greyville meetings.

If ever Oratorio was forgotten about by the breeding community, he sent out a timely reminder with a month to go in the South African covering season with three cracking winners.

The unraced four year old ORAVAR displayed a fair amount of class in a sweeping victory at Turffontein on Thursday. Not to be outdone, Van Halen, the Tobie Spies star won on his coconut on a comeback run that made fools of the opposition on the same day.

Not be outdone, the Oratorio from the Dennis Drier stable EUPHORIC won nicely at Greyville on Friday night.

Oratorio stands at Avontuur Estate.
