6 Counting Stars- has benefit of low draw. has a place chance.

2 Eternal Night - This merit rated 58 horse has last run 21 days ago and should be the one to beat.

3 Silken Thread- Is improving consistently and should finish thereabouts.

1 Profound- This Candice Bass- Robinson trained filly is well drawn and can take well to the poly track . Watch

Race 4

1 Maple Syrup- Ran 4.6 lengths behind The Highwayman and could improve further and win. 

9 Limestone Mass- Is a fairly consistent runner and stands a chance.

2 The Carpenter - Was beaten only by 1.25 lengths and ran an impressive second to Highland Hero last week. Watch. 

Race 5

1 Celestial Prince- if taking to the poly track and after some decent efforts in Cape Town he must be the one to beat in a weak field. One of the better bets on this card. 

9 Hither Green-Is a credible runner and could rank as the Cape raiders biggest danger. However has a few lengths to find to beat the favourite. 

8 Hippie Trail- stands a place chance in this line up. 

Race 6

5 Reine Tonnerre- 2kgs lighter than Maverick Girl and the luck of the better draw gives this horse a competitive edge. The last run was impressive again and in decent form. 

1 Maverick Girl - runs well on the poly and should finish close up again. 

2 São Paulo-runs well on any track and could run into the money

Race 7

5 Flight Captain - is drawn well and if runs on, has a winning chance in a competitive lineup. 

4 Aldo- enjoys the poly track surface and has a good draw. A highly rated sort, anyone that beats him wins. 

3 Breakfast Club-prefers the polytrack and stands a chance. 

Race 8

2 Distant Call- was heavily backed last time out on her debut and was unlucky after a poor start, seems to be the one to beat.

8 Silva Key - comes off at draw 1 and has a place chance.

10 Dubai Queen- could go well and is one to watch.

Race 9

3 China Wolf- is a very capable horse and with 2.5 Kgs off looks to finish in the money. Cape form is impressive. 

2 Tasunke- seems to be holding her form and has place chance.

8 Ladysmith-Finished an impress third last time out and should improve again.
