The Sun Met (Grade 1)

ONE WORLD has had his rating raised from 130 to 135 following his extremely gallant victory in the Grade 1 Sun Met over 2000m at Kenilworth (summer course) on Saturday 1 February. The Handicappers were unanimous in their view that the ever-consistent runner-up RAINBOW BRIDGE was the correct line horse to use in assessing the race, and as such his rating remains unchanged on 134.

There was no change either for 3rd placed HAWWAAM or for 4th finisher TWIST OF FATE, however, 5th placed BUNKER HUNT gets a small increase and goes from 122 to 124. Several horses received a rating’s drop. UNDERCOVER AGENT goes from 124 to 122, DO IT AGAIN was dropped from 136 to 135 to make him no higher than the winner, EYES WIDE OPEN drops from 118 to 116, and HEAD HONCHO is down from 126 to 124.
