Duke of Marmalade has been retired

Duke of Marmalade has been retired based on based advice from his vet.

He will live out his days at Drakenstein Stud and watch from his paddock his ever growing influence as a broodmare sire around the world.
The Duke is the sire of 7 Grade 1 winners, namely Simple Verse, Rain In Holland, Big Orange, Star Of Seville, Nutan, Sound Of Freedom and Temple Grafin.
It’s been a pleasure for all of us at Drakenstein to stand such an icon of the sport.
