Ashwin Reynolds made an appearance at trackwork this week to watch Kommetdieding gallop but this time around he may be a bit more worried about the competition after the colt's shock defeat over shorter last time.
The ambitious plan to race in Gauteng after a hard Cape Summer Season culminating in the Cape Met win, was always going to be a test. Rather than criticise the move, one can applaud the challenge. The Premiers will be final part of the puzzle that has two Provinces top races ticked and a final one on the radar.
Here are some of the comments by trainers for their runners courtesy of Gold Circle.
