Starting at 1/12 odds, he fulfilled expectations by effortlessly overtaking Rubaud at the second last, strolling to a decisive victory. Nico De Boinville, with seemingly minimal effort, guided him to finish with a commanding lead of nine-and-a-half lengths over the Kingwell Hurdle champion.
Paddy Power and Betfair maintained the winner's odds at 2/5 for a successful defense of his Unibet Champion Hurdle title, while Sky Bet, consistent with previous odds, stood at 1/3.
