Luke Littler's remarkable journey at the PDC World Darts Championship persists, with the 16-year-old defeating Rob Cross to secure a spot in the final.
In his debut world tournament, Littler triumphed 6-2, setting up a final clash against Luke Humphries, who dominated Scott Williams with a 6-0 victory.
Littler, now with total earnings of £200,000, becomes the youngest finalist, surpassing Kirk Shepherd's record set in 2008 at 21 years and 88 days.
Reflecting on his unexpected success, Littler expressed, "It is crazy to even think I am in the final on my debut."
He added, "I was happy to win one game, and now I can go all the way. It's not easy. You are playing Rob, he is a world champion who won on debut. I've got no words."
When asked about his preparation for the upcoming final, Littler shared his routine, saying, "I'll be doing what I've been doing. In the morning I'll go for my ham and cheese omelette and then come here, have a pizza, and then prep on the board. That is what I've done every day."
Humphries, now the new world number one, presents Littler with his toughest challenge yet as they vie for the championship.
