Assessment of race: This race won't take a lot of winning and there will be no surprise if the first timer from the De Kock yard wins. However, we think that More Than All (28/10) could be the one in an open contest.
Race 2
Selection to win: 1,4,2,6
Assessment of race: Articuno (7/10) is better than this field in Ratings and on ability but the price is ridiculous.
Race 3
Selection to win: 7,6,1,3
Assessment of race: Thing Called Love (18/10) was impressive first time out in what looked a certain set of runners that day. If she comes back to anything near his best ability he wins this race.
Race 4
Selection to win: 2,3,10,1
Assessment of race: Mastership (11/10) too short but does have some good form. A nice place bet is Battleofbarberton (27/20) who is the improver off a good first effort.
Race 5
Selection to win: 4,8,6,3
Assessment of race: Another race that is open. Pretty In Pearls (7/2) a marginal choice.
Race 6
Selection to win: 3,1,9,2
Assessment of race: Eiffel Tower (26/10) hasn't got an advantage on Biofarmer from the last meeting so the passage in the race could be a factor. Not an easy race to assess.
Race 7
Selection to win: 10,3,4,2
Assessment of race: Quantum (7/2) has a significant best weighted advantage over this field. If he runs to his rating, he will be hard to beat.
Race 8
Selection to win: 6,3,7,10
Assessment of race: War Queen, significantly, has the 4 kg apprentice allowance. With the great formlines, it makes it a very strong contender.
