Feather Boa Also Sold with Bless My Stars to United States

In a deal that started months ago, Bless My Stars has been sold to the United States.

The Kestrom investment owned filly is due to travel to the US in an early March shipment dependant. In a deal done with Team Valor's Barry Irwin, the filly was one of many targeted by the American. He failed in other deals due to failed vets and other issues for horses we cannot be mentied. But it did include a star colt who had failed a vet examination.

Bless My Stars was trained by Sean Tarry. The deal was in the making along with other high valued targets that are competing on Met Day. Bless My Stars was scratched from the Met due to travel restrictions but the deal was already at an advanced stage if not completed by then.

Feather Boa, who will join Todd Pletcher, was also purchased by the Team Valor. She will target one more race, a Gr1 mile, in South Africa before export. Both purchases will remain with their respective trainers until export.

Irwin regularly uses some of America's top trainers, like Pletcher, but Bless My Stars' trainer is unknown at this stage. As an accomplished filly, she will target the higher level group races on the turf in the US. Feather Boa, on the other hand, will attempt dirt races.

It has also been reported erroneously and irresponsibility reported that Let's Go Now would make the trip but she failed a vet. She will not be on the flight over at this stage.

There is a wider plan to send shipment of horses overseas but as yet it is being discussed.
