Syster To leave South Africa

Jeffery Syster, a prominent jockey at Borrowdale Park, will bid farewell to the racing scene on February 24th. Known for his impressive performances riding for Brumstock Stables, Syster will embark on a new journey in the UK. He was unfortunately less successful in Joburg with just 4 wins in South Africa.

Under the guidance of Trainer Debra Swanson, Syster joined Brumstock Stables last season in May. His partnership with the stables bore fruit swiftly, culminating in a triumphant victory at the prestigious OK Grand Challenge astride the promising three-year-old, Down To Business. Throughout his tenure, Jeff has not only proven himself as a skilled rider but also as a cherished member of the team.

He rode four winners for the stable in one day this past Saturday.

During his time at Borrowdale, Syster's stellar performances have propelled him to the top of this season's jockey standings, cementing his legacy as one of the leading riders in the circuit.
