Star filly Gimme A Nother, unbeaten in her seven career starts, has been withdrawn from the Hollywoodbets Gr1 Durban July, with trainer Mike de Kock announcing plans for her future in the United States.
De Kock stated in his media that after consulting with owners Jessica and Steven Jell, the decision was made to campaign Gimme A Nother in the US. De Kock will travel to explore racing options for her, with the possibility of sending other runners along.
The filly who was all the rage with punters for the upcoming July will unlikely race in South Africa again, as she'll be shipped to the US once plans are finalized.
The three-year-old filly, by Gimmethegreenlight out of Nother Russia, boasts wins in the Gr1 Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Classic and the Gr1 TAB Empress Club Stakes.
Her absence in the Fillies features in Kzn and the Durban July opens the door to many options for other promising horses targeting those Gr1 features.
