Bryony Frost Injured in Fall in France

Bryony Frost is facing some time out after breaking her collarbone in a fall in France on Sunday.

Frost, who has been riding for owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede since early May, encountered fewer opportunities in Britain compared to previous years. The fall happened at Le Lion D’Angers, immediately causing her significant pain. Simon Munir confirmed the injury via a statement on his official X account.

"Unfortunately, Bryony Frost has broken her collarbone following her fall at Le Lion D’Angers on Sunday," the statement read. "We wish her a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her back riding for Team Double Green soon."

No timeline has been provided for Frost's return, but she is aiming for a swift recovery. The French jumps season is still in progress, and the Grade One-winning 29-year-old benefits from a weight allowance when competing against male jockeys.

Frost notched her first victory since moving to France on May 26, ridiimage ng Likata at Sable-sur-Sarthe.
