Devon Pretorius, son of seasoned Eastern Cape analyst, Neil called his first race in Malaysia earlier today.
Pretorius was brought up on racing by his illustrious father and recently relocated to Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur after finishing his stint in Cape Town.
The promising young man in his early twenties has impressed many in the industry to date.
His overseas call up, as it were, has been on the cards for a while as he forges his own path in Malaysia.
The 23-year-old Devon, a graduate of Wynberg Boys High, received all the necessary visa and approval clearances just last week. He began working there on 1 August and called home race 6 as his first today.
