See It Again has a new rider for the King's Plate, the flagship day in Cape Racing. The blue and white day has most of the top milers in the elite King's Plate with the highest rated horse getting a new rider, it's Rachel Venniker.

Piere 'Striker' Strydom is off See It Again after his fall in race 5 at the Vaal yesterday. He stated that he would be off for around two weeks. That innocuous Vaal weekday meeting turned out to be a catastrophy for riders as three had issues on the day.

Calvin Habib broke a collar bone, Piere Strydom had some lacerations whilst Craig Zackey fell off his horse in the pull up area.

Habib is off all his mounts for the King's Plate meeting including Summer Cup winner, Atticus Finch. At the weights he had little chance but it was a Grade 1 ride in any event. Raymond Danielson gets the ride. Habib will be operated on, on Thursday.

Rachel Venniker is the replacement on See It Again and she didn't have a ride in the race either which made the switch logical. Her fan base is large in South Africa with many calling for her to ride the star horse. They will have their day.

One Stripe is listed as the 22/10 favourite whiles See It Again is at 11/2, second choice.
