Cape Town Met Noms Narrow as Weights Are Published

After an electrifying L’Ormarins King’s Plate day on Saturday, the stage is set for the 2025 World Sports Betting Cape Town Met as 28 thoroughbreds remain in contention following the publication of weights on Monday, January 6. The prestigious Grade 1 event, run over 2000m at Kenilworth Racecourse, carries a lucrative purse of R5 million and promises to attract some of the country’s top racing talent.
