Aga Khan Studs Confirm 2026 Stallion Fees with Sea The Stars Leading the Lineup

The Aga Khan Studs have released their 2026 stallion roster and fees, headlined by the incomparable Sea The Stars, who will stand for €300,000 after another exceptional year both on the track and in the sales ring.

The Gilltown Stud resident ended 2025 as Ireland’s leading active sire, thanks to a trio of Group 1 winners — Daryz, Aventure, and Sosie — with Daryz emulating his sire by capturing the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. Sea The Stars also made history in the sales ring when his colt out of Crystal Zvezda sold for 3.7 million guineas, the highest yearling price recorded in 2025. As a broodmare sire, his influence deepened with three additional Group 1 winners, lifting his total to ten at the highest level.

Siyouni, the proven source of Classic quality, will stand for €150,000. His 2025 season was highlighted by Zarigana’s victory in the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches and Flight’s runner-up effort in the 1000 Guineas. Siyouni’s reach also extended internationally, with Bellezza scoring in the United States and Shin Emperor prevailing in Dubai. His growing legacy as both a sire of sires and a broodmare sire was further underlined by Diamond Necklace (Prix Marcel Boussac) and Zavateri (National Stakes).

Rising force Zarak continues to impress breeders and buyers alike. His fee remains at €80,000, reflecting consistent demand and strong racetrack returns. The son of Dubawi now counts 12 Group 1 horses, including 2025 stars Laurelin and Campacite, while his yearling filly out of Prudente fetched €1.1 million at Arqana — his highest auction result yet. Remarkably, over 10% of his runners have become Stakes winners, with 14% of his €12,000-conceived foals earning black type.

Two of the Aga Khan’s most exciting young sires, Vadeni and Erevann, have their first foals on the ground and will stand at €15,000 and €8,000, respectively. Vadeni, the brilliant winner of both the Prix du Jockey Club and Eclipse Stakes, continues to attract strong breeder support. Erevann, by Dubawi and out of the elite racemare Ervedya, also maintains momentum after covering triple-digit books in his initial seasons.

Together, the quintet represents one of Europe’s most balanced and successful stallion rosters, blending proven champions with rising influences that will shape pedigrees for years to come.
