RACE 1:Maiden Juvenile Plate (F) 1200m Straight

TAJ MAHAL TRIP made a good debut last time when strongly fancied. Will have come on from that run. LITTLE ONE has had two decent runs, both over shorter. Consider. CULPA MEA could improve on a moderate debut last time. ALBERT'S CHOICE will need to show more than her debut run to win. Watch the betting on the first timer, HICKORY HILL.

RACE 2:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1600m Bend

DAILY FLIGHT has good maiden form and will be looking to make amends for her last run when she was baulked in the straight. GUEST EL GRANDE has had two good runs thus far. Should be running on. SULLY'S LANDING set a good pace last time before fading. That was her best run in fifteen. may be ready to win soon. SINGANA is never far back. VAIL has no form but looks likely to improve.

RACE 3:Maiden Plate 1400m Bend

JET EXPLORER has run twice for two seconds. Will be running on and is clearly the one that they all have to beat. May be at restricted odds. SHOES 'N COMPANY is showing good improvement. COUNT ME LUCKY is consistent and should be in the firing line. SACRED CHAYYIM makes his Cape Town debut. Inclined to be inconsistent. KOENIGSEGG showed some small improvement last time. A small possibility.

RACE 4:Graduation Plate (F & M) 1400m Bend

MARGARET COURT ran on well last time when returning from a six month break and a stint in KZN. Must never be ignored. AIM OF THE GAME tends to fade late but is never far off them. Very good post maiden form. LOLA BUD will be running on.. GREY ROSE is also never far behind but needs to find a more concerted finish.

RACE 5:MR 86 Hcp 1000m Straight

VARUSHKA shows good early speed, like most VAR progeny. This is her best C & D and must rate another very good chance. MONEY SURGER will be running on from off the pace. Must have a good shout in this league. PAOLO SANTO takes on much stronger but was strongly supported in the betting when winning well this C & D last time. ANNIE BE QUICK loves this C & D but usually fades late after having set a very good pace. AFRICAN AIRWAYS takes on far stronger. Won against far weaker last time.

RACE 6:MR 72 Hcp (F & M) 1000m Straight

WOLF'S GIRL has decent post maiden form and has won this C & D. WINTER HEART won her maiden last time and may need to confirm. Did win impressively though. ICE GODDESS also won her maiden last time but ran a good debut run before that. Consider. JACKIE O won on debut last time. Hard to assess. That run was in July. ROSE LORAINE may be coming back in to form. Consider for places, perhaps.

RACE 7:MR 86 Hcp (F & M) 1800m Bend

EL JADIDA ran well in a listed handicap last time. Drops in class and should be the one to beat despite the 64kg she has to carry. SUSANNA rises in class but is in good form. RESPECTABLE LADY has not won in a while but stable is in form. If at best will be running on. SYLVAN WIND will need to find best form to win. ROSIE TIBB is never far back but has not won in a while.

RACE 8:MR 70 Hcp (F & M) 1800m Bend

RUSH FOR JOHN has good post maiden form. Faced much stronger last time and was running on over 1600m. FULL REGALIA has had two fair post maiden runs. Should be fighting this one out. Has won this C & D.  WINTER MIST will be running on and should not be ignored on a vastly improved post maiden effort. MILITARY MAIDEN was fair in her post maiden effort last time. Watch for improvement still to come. COOL RIVER showed some form return last time. Place chance.

RACE 9:Maiden Plate (F & M) 1200m Straight

CASH COUNTER ran her best run last time which was at this C & D. FASHION FRINGE looks likely to improve further to challenge. MYSTERE made a fair debut when unfancied last time. May improve.  NUNAVIK may be coming to hand. DREAM AGAIN runs well this C & D and could be coming to hand. CARE TO DANCE should have her last effort ignored. That was at Durbanville in August. Two decent runs at Kenilworth.
