Hong Kong’s talented trio of challengers for the Group 1 Singapore Airlines International Cup at Kranji on Sunday 20 May, departed for Singapore this morning (Sunday 13 May), one week ahead of the 2000m showpiece.

The Caspar Fownes-trained Thumbs Up, Zaidan from the John Moore stable, and the Tony Cruz-trained California Memory each contested the G1 Audemars Piguet QEII Cup on 29 April, in which they finished 2nd, 4th and 5th, respectively, behind Japanese star Rulership.
