LOT 137 - BLACK MINNALOUSHE FILLY

Black Minnaloushe is producing winners around the country and has already produced G1 winners in USA, Australasia and South Africa. These include a Breeders' Cup winner, a Champion 2 year Old Colt in New Zealand and the winner of the G1 Premier's Champion Stakes here in SA, Gold Onyx. The son of Storm Cat has a smart filly by the name of VINTAGE BLACK out of a Model Man mare. The mare has already produced a 5 time winner and is a half-sister to the G1 Gilbey's Stakes winner, Young Harvest. She is a racy and athletic filly.

LOT 163 - WINDRUSH COLT

The Windrush colt is out of a 3 time winner and Stakes performing National Assembly mare, Assembly Dancer. The dam is a half-sister to the stakes winning Prince Elliodor who won 9 races. Windrush is the sire of one of the best fillies South Africa has seen in recent years, Mother Russia and he really has stamped this colt in the likeness of himself. He is a big and scopy and only getting stronger as he matures.

LOT 41 - EYEOFTHETIGER COLT

Eyeofthetiger was an extremely talented racehorse winning the G1 Durban July as favourite and being crowned Equus Champion 3 year Old Colt. On top of this being a well-bred son of Champion Stallion Royal Academy, his death is a major loss to South African racing. This may be one of the last chances to get hold of a quality son of his on auction.SABRE TOOTH is from the successful Jessamine family out of mare by Silvano. He is a flashy and handsome colt with a lot of presence who like his father looks a 'classic' type and is working well.

LOT 124 - MODUS VIVENDI FILLY

TINSELTOWN is by Modus Vivendi - the regally bred full brother to Champion Xaar and sire of none other than the star mare, Dancewiththedevil, who has been exported to the UK to continue her career. The dam of this filly won 3 races up to 2000m and is a half-sister to 9-time winning G3 Prix du Cap heroine, Bridal Lace. She is a good-looking lovely filly with a deep girth and stands over ground.

TOREADOR COLT & 2 FILLIES

We are consigning three progeny of the talented young SA stallion, Toreador. Toreador is South Africa's leading son of Danehill at stud and has already produced Equus Award winner Link Man in his first crop and Graded Stakes winning sprinters Deliver the Power, She's a Stunner and Jackadore.

LOT 185 - TOREADOR FILLY

The filly out of Dancing Elli (Elliodor) is the granddaughter of Dancing Danzig - the ARCSA Champion 2 and 3 year old Filly in her time. Dancing Elli is herself a half-sister to the G1 performing Fort Danzig. This filly works really well, looks precocious and just wants to run.

LOT 55 - TOREADOR FILLY

The filly with a current and interesting pedigree is that one out of Make My Millennium. Make My Millennium is a half-sister to 6-time Champion Stallion, Jet Master who of course needs no introduction. All of Make My Millennium's progeny that have run have won, and the most recent of these is Canon - a colt by Silvano who has won 2 from 4 starts for Mike de Kock. He won his 2nd start by 7 lengths, then never fired on the sand in his third, before winning his 4th start by 5 lengths at Turffontein. She is balanced, works well and could be precocious.

LOT 92 - TOREADOR COLT

The Brazilian mare Rio Verde is the dam of the 3rd Toreador Ambleway is consigning. He is the mare's first runner and comes from a family littered with black type. The half-sister to Rio Verde was Champion 3 Year old filly in Brazil before being shipped to the USA where she performed at graded stakes level. He is an athletic colt with a super action, a scopy stride, and is improving with time into a racy individual!

LOT 121 - CASINO PRINCE (AUS) COLT

HIGH STAKES is an Australian bred colt by Casino Prince out of the End Sweep mare, Sweeping Views, who has already produced a winner. Casino Prince is a G1 winner and has made a great start to his stud career being Champion Freshman Sire in Australia in 2011/2012, and winning this title by some distance beating the likes of Bernardini and Hard Spun in the process! He may be relatively unknown in South Africa but certainly has made a name for himself in Australia already by siring precocious G1 winning two year olds! Recently he also sired All Too Hard, the winner of the G1 Caulfield Guineas - one of Australia's most prestigious 3 year old races which indicates the horses look to be training on.

Sweeping Views, although unraced, is out of G1 performing Lady's Delight and is a from a family potent in producing stallions and G1 performers. The 4th dam is none other than Spring Adieu - the sister of Northern Dancer and granddam of Danehill.

There is a lot of local interest in the dam line as stallions Announce and Sarge, as well as talented runners Daphne Donnelly, Queen's Bay, Bouquet Garni, and Lady Broadhurst all come from this line.

This colt is a confident individual and looks speedy and precocious, as one would expect and want from this mating.
