The Millard family have created a strong South African racing dynasty over the past 30 years and beyond. 

With the July King, Terence, leading the pack, son Tony soon followed and brother in law Geoff Woodruff was not be out done and now Geoff's son and daughter are also involved. 

However the weekend belonged to Tony Millard as thefirst former SA champion trainer brought up a Hong Kong milestone by saddling his 400th winner in the Chinese city. 

The Long road to get there has also culminated in dual Horse of the Year Ambitious Dragon being the star of the stable even though he disappointed in a disrupted run over the past weekend in the QEII Cup where he was badly checked. 

Tony compares him to the great Empress Club and is enjoying the fun and thrill of training the best horse in Hong Kong. 

The South African mentor hit the 400 milestone with jockey Richard Fourie on board on Champions Mile day in what must be a significant chapter in Hong Kong racing history. Well done Tony and may you have any more.
