FINAL EPISODE makers her Gauteng debut this afternoon. Piere Strydom rides. Her best run was two runs back at Clairwood. One to consider. ALL THE TENS did not show over further last time. Should be better over this distance. ENCHANTED SILK (Sean Tarry) has improved over his last two runs. Very good chance on those efforts. GEMINI STAR made a decent debut last time. Gavin Lerena rides. WINTER STAR ran on well on debut last time.

RACE 2: Maiden Juvenile Plate 1200m Straight

Anton Marcus makes the trip from Durban for two rides. One of them is the heavily backed first timer, MY EAST MY WEST. Keep an eye on any betting moves. The other is TIGER QUEST in the fourth. FORT BELLINI (Sean Tarry) also makes his debut. Once again, watch the betting. CARLISIE is another debutant. Piere Strydom rides for Gavin Van Zyl. TIME BANDIT made a moderate debut last time. Should improve. OSTERLEY (Mike De Kock) makes his debut. Respect the yard.

IT'SGOTTOBEME was rewarded for consistency last time. Form before that win was very good and there is every chance that she should go close to repeating that effort. BALUGA produced a powerful finish last time to win over 1200m. Has won this C & D before. Must have a decent shout in this field. VARS HONOUR won her maiden last time. Piere Strydom rides but may need to confirm that win. SHERI BABY is a reserve runner with good form. Consider if getting to run. STAMFORD BRIDGE won his maiden at the third attempt last time. Robbie Fradd rides.

RACE 6: MR 90 Hcp 1800m Bend

MONEY GRUBBER (Ormond Ferraris/Nooresh Juglall) ran on very well to win last time after a two year break. Should be a far fitter proposition this afternoon. Go close on that sterling effort last time. RIGHT TO TANGO has steady form and races handy. MIRAGE DRIVE was beaten into second by SEAL last time. That was a run full of merit. One to consider. GO GOLD has been racing in features. Robbie Fradd has the ride. EASTERN COBBLER has been racing well on sand and may prefer that surface now.

RACE 7: MR 73 Hcp 1800m Bend

WAR FRONT has certainly picked up his game in his last two efforts. Has been finishing well. MASTER ENTERTAINER is inconsistent but has faced far stronger earlier on. Could sneak home. SAMMY SILVER  showed very good improvement last time when running on. Chance if repeating that effort. BEE KEEPER was running on over shorter last time. Could be improving. DARK KNIGHT is current ante post favourite but could have more to find on recent patchy form.

RACE 8: MR 76 Hcp (F & M) 1800m Bend

BIBBETY BOBBETY (Ormond Ferraris/Nooresh Juglall) runs well at this C & D and has been running on in both of her last two starts. Must go very close in this field. WARRIOR'S PASSION (Mike De Kock/Gavin Lerena) has shown up very promisingly since winning her maiden three runs back. Should go close as well. CATRAZ  (Sean Tarry/Piere Strydom) does not have the best of form but should improve. TOMORROW'S MISS could have more to find on her two latest efforts on sand. PINTARI won by twelve lengths in Kimberley last time. Will have more to do here. Respect the ante post favourite MYSTIC TIGRESS.

DUCHESS TRENTON has had two very good post maiden runs and will be finishing well. COME WITH ME just got up to win last time in a similar field. Could repeat. NIGHTINGALE GREY has improved in her last two when running on well in both. First time this far. VIRGINIA SOUND will also be running on. SUNNINGDALE has not won in a while but has Piere Strydom in the saddle.
