RACE 1: Maiden Plate 1000m Straight

WEST OF LONDON is very fast and he almost held on over 1200m in his last two runs. On form the one to beat. PLATINUM FOX runs for the fortieth time. Did show some signs of life late on last time. SPECTRAL ISLE improved when returning from a six month break last time. STALLONE has shown improvement in his last two. SWIFT WONDER tends to weaken. May place at best.

RACE 2: Maiden Plate (F & M) 1000m Straight

RESET IN BLUE ran her best race last time. and should improve further. NOMENCLATURE is very fast but weakens late. FUSION could be using form but Piere Strydom has the ride. MISS IMPERIAL made a fair debut last time. Watch for improvement. MADYA has improved in her last two but has more to find for the win.

THE SHARK has not won in a while. He was interfered with some way out last time when still managing to run on. Could be one to follow at a good price, BLAZE OF FIRE loves this C & D (2 from 2). Is very speedy and tries his best to stay on. CELTIC FIRE is never far back and also have very good form this C & D: 6(2-3-0). BOIS DE VAR (Justin Snaith/Piere Strydom) has a very good chance on overall form which is really very good. STONE PINE got up to win after a slow start last time. Place chance.

RACE 6: Conditions Plate (F & M) 1000m Straight

PINE VALLEY takes a rise in class but the way in which she finished last time and won, suggests that she could repeat this afternoon. VIVALDA is unbeaten this C & D (2 from 2) and looks to have a strong chance in this field. I GOT YOU BABE has good form and will be doing her best work late. Has won this C & D. CAT'S PAW (Justin Snaith/Piere Strydom)  is still improving but could have some way to go yet. CASHMERE MAFIA could be losing form.

RACE 7: MR 90 Hcp 1000m Straight

NOVEMBER RAIN (Justin Snaith/Piere Strydom) has won his last two against slightly weaker but should have the necessary advantage this afternoon. LONDON PERFECT is very fast and should contest the finish. SOUTH RANGER was not disgraced in a feature last time. Looks for a decent run. AFRICAN ALLIANCE (Justin Snaith/Muzi Yeni) is never far off them but he does lose ground at the start. JELLA LOOCHEE weakens but has an apprentice claiming 4kg.

RACE 8: MR 73 Hcp 1000m Straight

WIMBLEDON QUEEN got up to win this C & D last time. Could find the 60kg without an apprentice claim difficult. Chance still on best form against a few stronger fields. EBRO is never far behind. The blinkers go on and ran on strongly last time. COME HOME SMOKIN was sent out as favourite but came back coughing!!! Chance this field though and do not ignore. REGAL MAN has been running on strongly and was well rewarded with a win last time. FOREST FIGHTER (Justin Snaith/Piere Strydom) made a very good PE debut last time. Had good form in Cape Town as well.
