FOREST PANTHER (Justin Snaith/Bernard Fayd'Herbe) has had two close up sixths when finishing well in both in Cape Town. Yard is in top form at present in Cape Town, PE and Durban. CHERISHED (Charles Laird/Anthony Delpech) makes his debut. Son of JAY PEG. MANIEVIC made a dull debut last time and will need to improve on that effort. ROYALSECURITYGUARD also never showed on debut last time. TOM IVORS makes his debut. Keep an eye on the betting.

RACE 2: Maiden Juvenile Plate (F) 1200m Bend

LEMONADE RIVER showed big improvement in her second start last time. Should fight this one out again. MINK TRIP (Mike De Kock/Anthony Delpech) weakened on debut last time. Should improve. ALAMO (Joey Ramsden/Anton Marcus) also failed to show on debut last time. Lost three lengths at the start. Should improve. Both ESPERANZA and MOHAVE PRINCESS make their debuts. Keep an eye on the betting.

RACE 3: Maiden Plate (F & M) 1400m Bend

LADY JADE loves this C & D and her form over the last four runs have been very good. She looks to be the one to beat. Will be running on. PITCH PERFECT could be the most likely challenger, especially with Anton Marcus aboard. Has improved markedly with each run. TORCH QUEEN ran her best race last time when setting a fast pace. May improve even more. MISS MIRREN has steady form. May place. RUNWAY JET is not consistent enough to win.

RACE 4: MR 74 Hcp 1200m Bend

KINGSTON BOY has been holding form well and was running on last time over this C & D. SILK MASTER is also holding form well but weakens when it matters most. STUNNING GUY has not won in ages and was way below his best last time. Could improve with Anton Marcus aboard. LEGEND DANCER won his maiden at the second attempt last time. He did win impressively but it must be said, against weaker. Will need to confirm. THE HELMSMAN (Duncan Howells/Alec Forbes) could be improving.

RACE 5: MR 96 Hcp 1600m Bend

BIG CITY ANGEL (Gavin Van Zyl/Anthony Delpech) has excellent form in his ten careers starts: 10(3-5-2) and is also a C & D winner. Must have an excellent shout this field. Last two starts were in feature races. CHERBOURG (Charles Laird/Anton Marcus) ran on strongly for the first time in ages when dead heating last time. Watch for another good run. FIRST LAD has been running on in his last two. Give another chance on the improvement. NOTHING COMPARES takes on stronger but form is good. EVERLAST also has more to find to win.

RACE 6: MR 79 Hcp 1600m Bend

OLD MACDONALD ran on well last time when just failing at the end. Anthony Delpech rides and loves this C & D. IRISH BLESSING may be improving. Did stay on last time. CHISLER is never far back. May make amends for interference last time which cost him. FALCONER'S KNOT will need to repeat his penultimate start. HENCHMAN disappointed last time. Chance on earlier and previous better form.

RACE 7: MR 94 (F & M) Hcp 1400m Bend

EUPHORIA has excellent post maiden form. Will be running on and should cope with the slightly stronger opposition. EXPERIENCE COUNTS (Joey Ramsden/Anthony Delpech) has been running on and should be in the mix late on. Is due another win soon. MAIGOLD showed excellent improvement last time. Has a good chance this evening if repeating that run. UNIQUE MOMENT (Gavin Van Zyl) came back to his better form last time but could be up against it. FELIX THE CAT (Duncan Howells) ran below par last time. Chance of running a place, at least.

GREY STARLING has given a hint that she could be improving again. Would be a long shot but worth a shout. INFINITE WISDOM won very easily against weaker last time. Has Anthony Delpech aboard. Should be in the mix. SEXY AND FREE is inconsistent but on her day could do something, especially with Anton Marcus aboard. MASAVERU has run well for this young apprentice. Expect another honest effort. WARDANDI GIRL dead heated when winning her maiden at the eleventh attempt last time. Could run in to the money.

BRORA (Mike De Kock/Anthony Delpech) was not disgraced against stronger last time. Not much to bet in this field. PRAYER OF PRAISE (Duncan Howells/Alec Forbes) ran on last time when showing some improvement over shorter. JE 'TAIME (Dennis Drier/Sean Cormack) ran a decent post maiden last time. Could be worth following again. GOLDEN DYNASTY (Gavin Van Zyl) has fair form but needs to find more to win. ANNE TRULOVE has lost form but only win was this C & D.
