Should fight it out for top three. EXPEDITION LEADER has more to do but is improving slowly. ELUSIVE CLUB runs for the twenty second time. Weakens late. Small prize this afternoon?

THE GOOD LIFE is inconsistent. Good chance if running on which does not happen every time though. TELL MY STAR has shown good form in her latest two starts. STROKE ONE has placed third this C & D. Has a shout. MISATSO ran her best race in seven last time. Has a 4kg apprentice claim. Banchory ran well first time out, priced up as ante post favourite. Worth considering in this field.

RACE 3: Maiden Plate (F & M) 2000m Bend

VIVA LA VIE is the form horse in this ten furlong event and justifies the short priced favouritism. JET FOR JOY and JOLIE FEMME are both inconsistent and seem to be running for the placings.The betting should be your best key. Both EGO BLAZER and QUANTUM LEAP could place in a weak field.

RACE 4: Conditions Plate (F & M) 1000m Straight

GENUINE LEATHER has been improving with each run and looks to be the one to beat. Ran on well last time. KALAAM has two good latest efforts under her belt. Should make a race of it. EASTERN GREETING did show vast improvement last time but weakens. ALCANINA showed a ten length improvement in her third start last time. MISS CANTONA has more to find but is battling for that elusive maiden victory.

RACE 5: MR 90 Hcp 1200m Straight

This should be a straight fight between GEMMAYZE STREET and VULCAN SPIRIT. GEMMAYZE STREET drops ever so slightly in class but has the form to win again. Has won four times this C & D from only seven attempts. VULCAN is very fast. Has strung together three consecutive close up seconds. Piere Strydom rides. KAPELLMEISTER has steady form and should not be out of the money. NICE STRIDE showed very good improvement last time. TAYBA drops in class but also has more to do to win.

RACE 6: MR 74 Hcp 1200m Straight

MONEY DOESNT COUNT makes her debut for the Sean Tarry yard. Should run well on her debut with Gavin Lerena aboard. COHIBA has been trying to win again but is C & D suited. Could upset. MEMEZA did not show in his post maiden effort last time. Can only improve. Is C & D suited. COMISSION DUE is also C & D suited. Don't ignore at this level. BROTHER IN ARMS did show improvement last time. Piere Strydom has the ride again.

TAWAKUL raced against far stronger last time. Could be the main contender in this field. At best this Mike De Kock trained filly will be running on. TURKISH DELIGHT also takes a drop in class and despite the mediocre form she could trouble the judges. STUNNING JET is never too far back. At best must have a place chance. CYCLONE MICHELLE has been racing against stronger and the have form and Gavin Lerena up. VIDEO GAMES has won this C & D and has only 52½kg to carry.

RACE 8: MR 68 Hcp 2000m Bend

INDIAN GIANT disappointed last time but has a chance on good previous form when running on. EDUCATED GUESS is in good form and won with authority last time. Will be finishing well. SHIMMERING GEM is battling for that second win. Form is good enough to do that this afternoon. THE MONEY SHOT has some decent form. Piere Strydom rides for Sean Tarry. The reserve runner, FLAMING FORGE could have a chance if he gets to run.

SOULS SINGER ran on well last time when showing good improvement. Could go one step further this afternoon. MAGIC PARCEL has faced stronger in his last few starts. Chance despite the mass. MADAME WING has been running on and also takes the drop in class. VERROCHIO is never far back. Gavin Lerena has the ride for Sean Tarry. NANDI (Mike De Kock) ran a good post maiden last time. Money chance. Respect the favourite, ROCKY STALLONE, who is joint ante post favourite.
