The Mike and Adam Azzie stable have released a statement about the well being of Abashiri..

Hi all Abashiri is in the equine hospital up at Summerveld he will spend the next couple of days there, before making his trip back up to Johannesburg where he will begin his rehabilitation and once recovered he will be retired, and become the Azzie Racing Stable darling.
